# Bagaimana Cara Mengaktifkan Authenticator?

Makmur menambahkan standar keamanan TOTP (*Time-based One-Time Password*) untuk meningkatkan perlindungan saat login ke akun Makmur. Berikut langkah-langkah untuk mengaktifkan Authenticator di akun Makmur Anda:

1. Klik Menu **“Profil” **dan aktifkan tombol** “Authenticator”** pada bagian Pengaturan.

2. **Download Google Authenticator** jika Anda belum memiliki aplikasi Authenticator. Jika sudah memiliki aplikasi Authenticator lainnya, pilih** “Aktivasi Authenticator”.**

3. **Masukan kode OTP** yang dikirimkan melalui Whatsapp, SMS atau Email.

4. Anda akan diarahkan ke halaman yang menampilkan **Recovery Key** atau **QR Code** di aplikasi Makmur.

5. Buka aplikasi Authenticator, klik **“Tombol +”** lalu **masukkan kode Recovery Key. **Pastikan Type of Key yang dipilih adalah **Time Based. **Kemudian klik** “Add”.**

6. Kembali ke aplikasi Makmur, lalu klik** “Verifikasi Authenticator” **dan masukkan kode yang muncul di aplikasi Authenticator Anda. Kemudian klik **“Kirim”.**

7. Authenticator Anda berhasil diaktifkan. 
**Penting:**
Pastikan Anda menyimpan Recovery Key di tempat yang aman. Recovery Key ini diperlukan jika Anda ingin memulihkan koneksi authenticator untuk akun Anda di kemudian hari.
